UtopiaNow: Hi, we hope you are well!! Does your band contact us briefly. How did you come to call to Unveil into being and what has changed since the band for you as well as individuals?

John: Hi, I'm Johann and play at Unveil guitar. We've known each other forever and have always been great friends. All had been earlier bands whose members all have but never the band is taken seriously. Unveil it is with us all seriously. We want to spend so much time and energy as possible for it. Since the first day was clear that We would like to represent a clear message. What has changed is not very much. You learn a lot of new people, the opportunity has concerts at various places to play and gain experience.

UtopiaNow: revealing expose your band's name translates as Unveil, disclose. What she wanted to express with your name and uncover what you want?

Johann:
There is much bad in the world. And even if it has been said a thousand times, it is so easy to ignore unpleasant things and talk nice. We place an emphasis on animal rights, our consumer society and its effects, etc. In a clear and direct message texts, we are simply another band that tries to bring these things to the people closer to music.

UtopianNow: Can you tell us something about the Swiss Hardcore / Punk scene and local scene in your grave?

John: Haha, that is in grave are no local scene. This is a 7000 souls village because it has nothing at all. Whether it is in Switzerland a "scene" there, you may argue themselves. It's all very surveyable. The same handful of people you meet always at concerts.

UtopiaNow: When I think of Swiss Hardcore / Punk, I'm thinking next to Unveil a resolution which unfortunately band Solid Ground and Animal Instinct. What Swiss bands you could even suggest to us?

Johann: Solid Ground were great. There are a few good bands in Switzerland. Seed of Pain, Beggars & Gentry, Dead verses About You, Life As War, Archers'n'Arrows, Keep It Back come to my grad spontaneously. Fall Apart were also good, unfortunately over. Oh yes, El Camino Car Crash and Within Walls, namely, Austria, but just across the border, also worth mentioning ne!

UtopiaNow: How did you come to hardcore and what bands have inspired you musically and lyrically?

Johann: At Hardcore we all came from Punk Rock. Skating and punk listen. Since we were all lousy skater we went more towards music, haha. As
Band have musically and lyrically, and mostly 90's hardcore bands like Unbroken, Earth Crisis, Trail, affected 108 and their ilk.

UtopiaNow: Hardcore is more than music! What is hardcore / punk for you and how you stand on the issue DIY?

Johann: Hardcore / Punk means to us exactly what we try to represent our band. It is not just heavy music. It is a refuge to escape from daily corrosive to allow out his frustration, his anger at the world. It is intended to exchange views, learn from each other. DIY is an important part of hardcore / punk. Anyone can make music, organize concerts, writing fanzines and bring out plates. That is what Hardcore alive. It takes energy not to get rich, but to get the music and the scene alive.

UtopiaNow: What will you bring with your music and your lyrics?

Johann: The people who hear our music, the lyrics should read this and think about yourself. We do not preach, but inspired. In our music puts a lot of energy, many feelings, I just hope that you notice this as a listener and feels.

UtopiaNow: What you mean Straight Edge and veganism? Do you see Straight Edge for example, as something purely individual or more as a movement?

Johann: Two completely different things. Straight Edge is something very individual. It makes no difference to me if someone else is drinking or not, to me anything. Veganism is something that can spread quietly. It is not for myself but for the animals and the environment. The more people vegan or vegetarian lifestyle, the more they boycotted the industry. Straight Edge that often leads to vegetarianism and veganism, I find a logical consequence. Who exactly is not like this, which should perhaps ask what time it is Straight Edge. In my eyes, one can also see things differently, straight edge should be the first step against the tide of society. This first step should then cause that does not make things more thought to a fit and where you will not have part. If the sober mind to not even come to see the most obvious things and be rejected, then it probably has not really brought something.

UtopiaNow: Where have you until now to play live and where did you like best? Which countries would you like to visit as a band? Do you take to get to before and after the concerts, time, know the visited cities closer to or the design is often difficult?

John: So we have two Time on a small European tour, go up from England Romania. Many places in which it has pleased us. England is not recommended, but there is always something going on in the east, Slovakia for example, was great. A U.S. tour, I'd find certain times very strong.

Unfortunately you always plenty to see too little time to the cities. It is in the club's asleep somewhere and the next morning you start further back. If we have the opportunity, we will look the city of course as good as possible. Or if you have a Offday can plan well that's nice.

UtopiaNow: sexism / heterosexism is a recurring evil in concerts. How should humans or the scene itself, you think to best deal with the intolerance and hatred? Do the band have a responsibility to relate position?

Johann: Everyone should take a clear position to bands anyway. It must be clearly shown that sexism, like racism and the like, to a hardcore show is not welcome. And I call not to violence, but verbal confrontation.

Your Song "Snowlion" (Destruction wherever I go 7) treats the issue of abuse of human rights in China and the repression of Tibet by the People's Republic of China. Can you tell us more about this often neglected topic?

(...)

Christian (vocals):
The Tibetan culture has been wiped out in China and 1.6 million people died in the "national liberation" of Tibet. The text does provide an impulse and can notify the listener / reader and an opinion, which is intended. So I will maybe genrell shake a little. When Europeans talk about genocide, the Holocaust is discussed. He is treated at school and in the media constantly reminded. I think a good thing. We should just remember that genocide, wherever, are a bad thing, whether in China / Tibet, Africa, Germany or wherever.

UtpopiaNow:
How is it generally towards religions? Is religion a personal life help or just another form of mind control or suppression, as illustrated, for example, the Tibetan Buddhism in terms of women being viewed as inferior sexual objects?

We need to distinguish always between spirituality and religion. A certain spirituality, individually, would do many people well. Unfortunately, because the ridge to religion is quite narrow. The world sets so many unanswered questions, questions without answers. Of course, looking for answers to what is after death, what is the meaning of life, etc, but use these replies simply by anyone? The heads have an organized religion far too much power and history has often shown us, where does that. It became a weapon, people are manipulated in their own interest. God is an idea, nothing more.

UtopiaNow: What can we expect in the future Unveil? Are there plans for an album and concerts / tours?

Johann: In January, we go on a week-long mini-tour of Europe. Otherwise, we write songs for our first album and play shows.
Thanks for the interview.
