Twitter for Android is one of the fastest growing Twitter applications. Six months ago it was still not among the ten most-used Twitter applications. In the past two months, the number of users doubled, but now it is among the top five - with twitter.com, m.twitter.com (our mobile site), Twitter for the iPhone and Twitter for Backberry .
Today we bring out the new version of Twitter for Android. It looks very similar to the existing Twitter applications, thus ensuring a well-known experience in handling and design. log
Use Twitter without you
you can Twitter for Android also use if you are not registered or has no account. You can observe the trends, browse through the different interests and view you referred users which are organized into categories such as fashion, entertainment, travel and much more. You can also follow what others have to say on topics for which you are interested in, such as sports or other events. You can register via the application but also register at Twitter.
Design
We have made the design of the new application, some fundamental changes. If you up for the first time login, you see your Timeline with the symbols for @ mentions, news, and lists at the top of the screen. This layout allows for easy and quick navigation of Twitter on your mobile phone with Android operating system. Also mentions the @ page now includes Retweets. The fact that you can see responses and Retweets together makes it, get a look for it, arouse interest in the Community Tweets. As a further change, we have "auto complete" added for user name. So you need only the first letter of a username, type in and we complete this automatically.
Search
We have this new version also added a universal search. This means that you can find in the search tweets that include the word you are looking for. You can search for these tweets in the vicinity of your location and find other users whose name contains the word.
If you for example for the word "sun" are looking to be submitted the following results:
sun-seeking: this provides tweets that include the word "sun"
search sun near you: this provides Tweets which the word "sun "contain and were sent by users in the vicinity of your site in search of sun
people: this provides accounts whose username "Sun" include
@ sun: This option bypasses all search results and lead you directly on to the account, if one exists.
And last but not least is located at the bottom of the search one of the best new features: you can search your address book and find out which of your contacts are already on Twitter (as long as they have released this option.) New users have the Möglichekeit to do this while they register by the application.
you can download from the Android Market for Android Twitter on your phone or your Tablet PC if it is Android 2.1 or later.
